CAP Program

Our accelerated flight training (CAP) program can get you from zero experience to CFI flight instructor in as little as 6 months and we can have you to ATP minimums in as little as 18 months with the specific training the airlines desire! Our relationship with ExpressJet Airlines allows our Trainees to interview and receive a job offer as a First Officer with ExpressJet upon successful completion of the instrument rating! That is a guaranteed job opportunity with one of the country’s largest airlines! 100% Financing is available to all who qualify!

Our CAP Program is a full-time structured FAA approved Commercial Pilot course with concurrent flight and ground training. The course includes ground school which covers all aspects of aviation. Licenses include the FAA private pilot, instrument pilot, multi-engine commercial pilot certificates and certified flight instructor ratings.

In order to be eligible, you must be at least 17 years of age, applicant must turn 18 within 6 months after enrollment, be able to Read, Write, Speak & Understand the English Language, be able to obtain a FAA Class 3 Student Pilot Medical Certificate. Army Aviator to ExpressJet Pilot Program

This program is specifically designed for the 500+ hour Army Aviator to smoothly and quickly transition to civilian commercial airline pilots.

After you take your Army form DA-759, Individual Flight Record, to local the local FSDO for civilian rotor wing certificates you can come here and complete the following:

  1. 1. 70 hours of fixed wing aircraft time. This includes 20 hours of dual instruction and 50 hours solo/PIC for Commercial Fixed Wing. Training time: 8 weeks.
  2. 2. Commercial checkride. No written test is required. Cost: Varies. Pilot pays directly to Designated Examiner $475-$500.
  3. 3. 15 hours of Instrument Training (5 of these hours will have been accomplished during commercial training). Training time: 2 weeks.
  4. 4. Instrument checkride. No written test is required. Cost: Varies. Pilot pays directly to Designated Examiner $475-$500.
  5. 5. 10 hours of Multi-Engine Training. Training Time: 1 week.
  6. 6. Multi-Engine checkride. Cost: Varies. Pilot pays directly to Designated Examiner $500-550.
  7. 7. 155 hours Single Engine and 25 hours Multi-Engine time building through CAP. Training time: 3 months.

Total Cost- $32,199 (does not include lodging or examiner fees)

Upon completion, the pilot will have built 250 hours through the program plus their previous Army Aviation experience enables them to obtain an ATP and employment with ExpressJet.
